Designs in metal
Metalwork is my professional trade, so it seems obvious to merge my two passions together – metalwork and design.
I enjoy a challenge and am constantly challenging myself, for instance, the tri-circ stool was first formed from playing with paper
circles (a lot cheaper than sheet steel), but then after this initial stage I designed tooling to form the shape of the seat on an
ordinary fly press instead of expensive tooling on a large press. This also keeps the production within my control.
The purchase of a Plasma cutter has now given me much more scope, it enables me to cut freehand through steel more or less like
drawing on steel - keep an eye open for my new "feet-tables " very soon.
I can honestly say all my creations are truly hand made and come with a logo-ed name tag and individual number.
