Salvaged creations
Creating with salvaged components is all about taking an object that has already been made and used, then, giving it a new life.
For instance, the car windscreen would be outrageously expensive for anyone to have made, laminated or toughened and then formed
into a curve. The same goes for the gearbox stool, again this would cost an extortionate amount of money to have produced,
yet become worthless scrap at the end of its life. I however have salvaged it and bought it back to life, this time however the
spindle is used to spin the seat and not drive car wheels. The only disadvantage to this process is the availability of
materials, because I am using salvaged items there is no guarantee I can find the same piece(s) again. This tends to
warrant more individual pieces or variations and unless I am commissioned for a piece, I make the item first and then offer it for sale.
